Work Experience
IoT Camera Product Development
Took on the role of IoT Camera Manager and project TPM, completed part of the Camera development work, built the IoT Camera team, and delivered projects.
- Independently developed the all-in-one PoC of the in-vehicle (SM6125 + Ubuntu) Camera. Without official support, brought up the MAX9296+MAX96705 link by writing scripts that ran thousands of iterations, and secured Camera performance (frame sync, no frame drop) through reasonable CPU/GPU resource allocation — later turned into a sales solution.
- Promoted to head of IoT Camera in late 2020; set up the IoT Camera team (currently 9 members) responsible for pre-sales, development and after-sales of multimedia projects.
- Served as TPM on European/American projects, acting as the bridge for technical communication and pulling resources to solve and drive difficult, high-risk problems.
- On one European project with unbalanced resources and high difficulty, kept it on track using 70% of resources by breaking down tasks and focusing on the single most important thing each day; refactored Android Display HAL to make an SPI screen the Android default screen while staying compatible with the Qualcomm Camera architecture.
Android Phone Development
Responsible for BSP and System development and maintenance on Qualcomm platforms (MSM8909/SM6125/SDM660/SM8250, etc.), across Android and Linux (Yocto)—power management, Charger/Battery, USB, Performance, Thermal, Camera, System, Stability, Security, power consumption, etc.
- Delivered many customer-specific Charger/Battery/USB requirements, e.g. expanding one USB interface into three and turning it into a universal solution.
- Porting and bug maintenance across individual modules.
- Repeatedly helped resolve difficult and urgent issues (XBL, performance, stability, version management), keeping projects on schedule.
- Set up a local-network Gitbook server and initiated technical output from team members, forming effective technical precipitation.
- Produced multiple documents and tools to improve R&D efficiency, such as bring-up guides, module debugging guides, and automation tools for compilation and debugging.
Android Phone Development
Responsible for BSP development on MTK platforms (MTK6570/6739), including LCD/TP/Camera, Charger/Battery, barcode scanner, etc.
Android Phone & Drone Development
Mobile development mainly covered drivers on Qualcomm platforms (MSM8916/8909, MSM8974) — power management, Charger/Battery, LCD/TP/Camera — solving problems at both responsibility and system level.
Drone development covered BSP and flight-control system development on the Qualcomm MSM8074 Linaro system, guaranteeing bring-up and correct operation of the ESC board, IMU, GPS, Magnetic sensors, etc.
IoT Design & Development
Embedded development on Samsung and STM32 platforms, including schematic drawing, microcontroller programming, Samsung-platform Linux porting, and Linux application programming.
